Exploring the Proposed 2020–2024 Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) for Marathon County Parks & Forests
The Marathon County Park System will celebrate its 100-year anniversary in 2020!
This anniversary celebration provides a great backdrop to update the County’s Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP), which will help guide the maintenance, planning, and development of the park system for the next 5 years (2020–2024) while also aligning Marathon County with state and regional initiatives to promote outdoor recreation.

If you’re looking to make a difference in your life AND the lives of those in your community, the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin (ADRC-CW) invites you and your loved ones to get involved.
You can package or deliver Meals on Wheels on a flexible schedule. Or volunteer to lead a 6-week session of an adult learning class. Maybe you just want to help serve lunch at a specific dining site. There are LOADS of ways to assist the ADRC.

Brand-New “Riverlife Park” in Wausau Opening Soon!
The City of Wausau will soon be opening an exciting new park on N. River Dr. near the riverfront restaurant Wausau on the Water (WOW). The park includes the City of Wausau’s first Challenge Course with a timing system. The course has a number of obstacles that’ll make you feel like a ninja!
And this park isn’t just for kids . . . There’s plenty to keep adults busy as well, like a large fitness area with cardio and static weight machines.
