Mary Palmer to Retire & Pass the Baton to Toshia Ranallo in Marathon County Administration

Mary Palmer will be retiring from her position in Marathon County Government as Executive Administrative Coordinator on December 11, 2020. And with one change comes another, as County Administration welcomes Toshia Ranallo, who is already working with Mary to learn as much as she can to get prepared for her new role.

Marathon County Expands Septic System & Holding Tank Maintenance Requirements to Protect Local Groundwaters

The Marathon County Conservation, Planning, and Zoning (CPZ) Department has started the process of adding nearly 7,000 Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (commonly called “POWTS” or “septic systems”) to its Maintenance Program.
