Come see this year’s musical acts in the grandstands, take in a rodeo and demolition derby, try out some of our new food vendors, participate in the new Riding Class as part of the Draft Horse Show, and much more!

Everyone Welcome to Partake in Marathon County 4-H “Family Challenge” Program (Oct. 2020 – Feb. 2021)

Families are looking for something to do close to home this fall and winter while avoiding large crowds. A new Marathon County 4-H program that includes scavenger hunts, hands-on activities, and more can help achieve just that. Complete 1 or all 4 engaging “4-H Family Challenges.”

UW-Extension Marathon County Celebrates National Volunteer Week

During National Volunteer Week (April 7–13), Extension Marathon County expressed its appreciation for the 431 active volunteers who contributed over 10,000 hours of service in 2018.

UW-Extension Aims to Improve Digital Connectivity in Rural Marathon County

Extension Marathon County hired Community Development Educator Melinda Osterberg and started a 4-H Digital Ambassador program (in partnership with Microsoft) with the aim of training 4-H teens to lead digital literacy classes to help people in rural areas learn to use digital technologies.

4-H Has Something 4-Everyone :: A Look at the 4-H Exhibits of the 150th County Fair

Take a visual tour of some of the highlights of this year’s 4-H exhibits at the 150th Wisconsin Valley Fair. A whopping 725 youth displayed over 11,000 exhibits at Marathon Park that they worked on throughout the year.
