SAVE THE DATE: Run to Remember 5K Run / Walk

Written by Cassandra Ambrosius

The inaugural Run to Remember 5K Run / Walk will take place on March 17, 2018, in Weston.

This event will raise money to create a standing memorial for the victims of the March 22 shootings that impacted a number of families across several Central Wisconsin communities and shook the entire region.

Just before the 1-year anniversary of that devastating day, we will gather to remember:

Karen Barclay
Karen Barclay

Dianne Look

Sara Quirt Sann

Volunteers are needed to help with various tasks, including registration, refreshment set-up, course marshals, and clean-up. If you’re interested in volunteering, please email Cassandra Ambrosius.

The entry fee is $25 until February 26, 2018. After that, the price will increase. The final route is being finalized, so please stay tuned…
