Dogs of all breeds and sizes “let their fur down” in June at the first Dog-Gone Pool Party of the 2017 summer season.
Canine enthusiasts brought their four-legged friends to the Marathon County Splash Pad to enjoy some off-leash time — running through sprinklers and dodging water cannons.
See a video montage of some pups cooling off at the Marathon County Splash Pad below.
If you and your dog missed the June party, don’t worry! There are two Dog-Gone Pool Party opportunities left this summer:
- Monday, July 31
- Sunday, August 13
The party starts at 5:30 p.m. and goes until 8:00 p.m.
All it takes to join in the fun is $5 and proof of current vaccinations. All the money raised goes toward reduced-cost pool passes and swimming lessons for children and families who need financial assistance.
Get more details on the rules, the fees, and the FUN here and check out the Wausau & Marathon County Parks, Recreation, & Forestry’s dedicated Dog-Gone Pool Party Facebook page for event updates, photos, and more.
